You taught me so much, my boy...
about your breed and dogs, in general.
You taught me about love, compassion, patience, perseverance, hope, tenacity, loyalty, generosity, delight, joy, love...
the list goes on and on...
I tried to bring you tribute with your book, my Angel.
I wanted it to 'Do good!' - like you did - and 'touch hearts' - like you did.
I think it has...I hope it has...
My boy...
Today, as I try and choose a photo for you, I think of you 'amidst everything in life'.
This special photo of you with the toys, I think, does justice:
You may be one amongst many memories, but wow, you are special!
...and always will be!
I love you, my boy...
Run free until we meet again...
Your loving,
MAXMOM

I read Maxdog about 6 months ago, but I picked it up to read again after we lost a very close bloggy pal. It is a wonderful book and thank you for sharing Max. He lives on and on through your words.

My friend, You brought tears to my eyes today-it seems like just yesterday; I feel the ache in your heart. Just like I have for my Sadie. I'm so thankful that you have Toby and Lexi-to brings smiles and Tammy to bring back memories.
Hugs, Noreen
Has it really been three years? Happy Birthday, Sweet Max - you and the Luke must be having a sweet birthday bash on the bridge! :D

Missed your birthday, sweetheart. Sending a special belated with to you as you traverse our Universe.
You know, you really did good with Your and Max's book. And it's true, too, what they teach us lives on in the dog loves we have after them. As I watch Toby and now "sweet Sunbeam" grow I see him. I don't know why but I get the feeling Lexi will really be a people dog,,,touching hearts in a special way. Her eyes touch my heart across the sea in each picture. ANd I feel she has a special place to fill. Well done tribute.
That touched my heart in SO many ways, so many ways, knowing that love. Happy Birthday Max and hugs to your sweet mom
You taught us well Maxdog - you left a hole in your Mom's heart.
