I have left this blog as a legacy to my dog and a place of sanctuary where we can reflect upon his life. Take your time, peruse the pages spanning Max's 18 months in cyberspace. Feel refreshed and uplifted because his story is an amazing one of..."LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX!"

THE BEST VALENTINE EVER!!!

GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!!!

MAXDOG & family here...

Hello there to all my furry friends from across the world!

Whew! I am back from the most amazing expedition ever!!!

What a day yesterday was!...It turned out to be...

THE BEST VALENTINE'S DAY EVER!!!

"What happened?" you might ask..

Well, something quite amazing! Yesterday mom had thought she'd have a chill-out day away from bloggy-land, but something said....

"TURN ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!"

Well Mom did and guess what she saw...

a truly incredible sight!!! Wave after wave of black and red "TAGS" on the sidebar of my blog, telling me that 'something' was most definitely UP!!!

"MAX TOUR STORIES"!
???

Well, we knew nothing about this event! So we clicked on the first icon and discovered the

BIG SURPRISE!
I had been invited on my own WORLD TOUR - to visit the homes and countries of my various bloggie-buddies across the globe.

(I COUNTED 42 BLOGS DURING THE DAY WHO HAD PUT UP SPECIAL POSTS!)

Mom's jaw dropped onto the ground and I glimpsed over her shoulder to see what was up. The first country we visited was IRELAND, where we discovered that Clive and Murray had taken me for a drink of "Guinness". Not only that, but the Not-so-little-man had made me a special card...

THANK YOU SO MUCH, MURRAY!!!

Well, from there, we went from blogpost to blogpost, home after home, country after country, visiting all our wonderful friends, who has spent SO MUCH TIME and EFFORT to make us feel loved and welcome! It was immensely special!

If you would like to visit all the sites which we visited on our

WORLD TOUR

please scroll down to yesterday's blogpost or click here.

Here are just 'SOME' of the things we saw...

PACO, MILO, MAYA and SIMONA in ITALY

put up a special plane for me... "MAX AIR"???

HAMISH in SCOTLAND got me going on his liquid refreshments...

THE THUNDERING HERD
made me an honorary member of their pack...

I got to climb the special mountain that belongs to...
JAKE AND FERGIE...

I got to catch the SQUIRREL-ZILLA with
CLOUD THE WONDERDOG...

ASTA
took me for a long walkie in New York city...

...ummmmm...
sorry I yawned at your Duet, dear ASTA...

And in ALASKA I visited INA IN ALASKA!
I got a special meeting with Lance-Mackay the 3-time winner of the
IDITEROD! Wow!

Mom and I spent the WHOLE DAY going around in cyberspace visiting you all.
If, for some reason, you haven't seen this
WORLD TOUR
please click here and visit all the blogsites.
(I am sorry I can't put up snippets of ALL your wonderful posts, but I encourage you all to visit and spent time with these amazing bloggie-buddies to see what each one got up to!)
THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH FOR MAKING ME FEEL SO SPECIAL!!!
Well, somehow, I still had energy to go on my walkies last night...

...and I caught up with my day in the long grass!
(I really hope the lawn mowers stay away for now!)

...and when TAMMY and I got home, we went for our swim...

TAMMY doesn't like the pool, but prefers to cool off in the
WATER FEATURE!!!
(Silly girlfriend of mine!)

I simply like to stand on the step...

...While TOFFEE prances away to get Mom's attention...

...he'll even stand on the lounger to make his point...

As for me: I'm eating okay, I'm sleeping soundly, I'm enjoying my walks and I'm taking the chemo tablets as well as the Milk thistle which you guys recommended. After such a wonderful WORLD TOUR, how can I not feel better!?!
It really was a super weekend!!!
Early this morning we said 'good-bye' to Miss R who had to go back to university. We all sat in the passage by the door to bid her farewell..

Now, I will gather my troops and sit by Mom's side for the day.
We watch and wait...

Lots and lots of licks to you all and...

THANK YOU FOR THE BEST VALENTINE'S WEEKEND EVER!!!

So glad you enjoyed it AND still had energy for your walk and a swim! Sounds like an awesome weekend for sure. I used to have a pools And Moose wanted so badly to go in but the stairs were too scary to him and he would not jump. That Water Feature that Tammy is enjoying is EXACTLY where he would be! It looks heavenly and she is so beautiful sitting there! In other pools that aren't as scary he does like to stand on the steps so he would hangout right where you do :-)
Glad all is well!
