It's been such a fun-filled time in bloggie-land with everyone playing the tour-guide in all the different countries in honour of MAXDOG.
I, the TOFFEE-DOG also got to look at all your wonderful WORLD TOUR blogposts!!!
I came across two more posts that Max & Mom missed. Please go and take a look:
(Where Max and Lucia share tricks they have learned)
(Who graciously showed Max some of the sights of New Zealand - and converted Max into a Springbok Rugby player!)
(Who participated with Max at the Winter Olympics)
If you missed the WORLD TOUR, please click HERE, grab a cuppa and take your time visiting the 42 bloggers who put up special posts for MAX'S WORLD TOUR on Valentine's day!)
As for me, the TOFFEE-DOG...
I am doing a lot of SLEEP SUPERVISING in this household...
Look at the pretty vase of Dahlias which she salvaged from the patch...
As for my sista...the TAMMY-DOG...
She's been getting herself into lots of trouble!
This morning she sneaked out of the front gate, when Mom wasn't looking, and went on a BIG romp, all by herself... to Max's grassy patch.
We had a big thunderstorm last night, so the long grass was sopping wet and she came back looking like a convoluted Labra-dork...
Mom was really cross with her, so when TAMMY-DOG got a mosquito on her nose, Mom simply grabbed the camera, BOL!...
Anyway, she eventually calmed down after all her zoomies and looked quite regal in the garden...
Well, since MAXDOG has been visiting all the wonderful sights in the world, I thought I, the TOFFEE-DOG
Well, you see, I think that I, the TOFFEE-DOG have found the elusive
THE VICTORIA FALLS IN ZIMBABWE

Toffee you have your own inimitable style.
Wonderful post, Toffee. We loved the photo of the southern hemisphere Rainbow Bridge! And we laughed at the one of Tammy with a mozzie on her nose!
Please give a giant cuddle to Maxz for us!
Woofs,
Tommy (and the cats too!)
Toffee - you did a great job! Love the falls and the rainbow bridge. But, I do think that you should've smacked that mosquito for Tammy. Just one girl's opinion :)
Why don't you snuggle up for a nap with your brother Max after all this hard work? I'm glad that he's staying strong.
Great post Toffee...we are sure Max is very proud of your tour guide abilities!! Give that handsome fellow a big smooch from Madi the Diva Cat and her Mom
The Falls in Zimbabwe are just GORGEOUS and so are your mom's Dahlias!
You sure have had one exciting adventure touring the world, Max!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Hi there Toffee!
You're doing great as a Tour Pup. Great post, indeed. What an interesting trip to Zimbabwe. Wow! That's a looooot of 000's in that paper bill! The rainbow bridge photos are very pretty.
Back in your love-filled home. The dahlias are so lovely. It's great that Max is having a good time with all of you there. Tammy is so funny looking soaked for a bit.
Toffee, you are all great for helping Mom to look after Max. We are here for you too.

I can see, like many of us, you have learned well from Max. I think he would be proud of you. Don't forget to show him this post when he wakes up from his nap.
I loved the Rainbow Bridge, verymost beautiful! While we here are still plowing through snow, we love to see your flowers and greenery!
Kisses,
Stella
Very nice job as Tour Director, Toffee!
While we certainly miss Max's tours, you obviously have an eye for beauty.
If you haven't already, check out Max's visit to Sandy Eggo. http://dogcatgirl.blogspot.com/2010/02/great-dane-olympic-games-special.html

Toffee I think you have found your calling - snooper-reporter! You did an excellent job and yes, honey, I think you found the BRIDGE. I can't imagine a more beautiful place for me to finally be reunited with my loved ones.
Please tell your momma this - liver cancer is not really painful. How do I know this? When my mother's cancer metastasized, her doctor told me that I should pray her liver cancer took her live and not the bone cancer because the liver caused little pain.
Regardless, I am heartsick about Max's illness and am still praying for him and cuddling him from across the miles...
Toffee, you are a fantastic tour guide!...A moving post=the Rainbow Bridge is an absolutely gorgeous and surreal discovery, a place of wonder that captivates our imagination and you have made it beautiful and real for us!!...Love and prayers to you and your family, especially sweet Max.
How clever of you to locate the Rainbow Bridge for us. It will stay in our minds when we think of those who have crossed over.
We read a lot about how the people in Zimbabwe have suffered -- and are suffering. Somehow the bridge offers some hope -- although do the people have to cross it to put an end to their suffering?
Hugs to sweet Max. We so sorry we missed his tour when he was just a few miles to the south chez Moose -- but know he would have enjoyed a tour of our South Florida landscape.
Wirey love,
Jake and Just Harry
Toffee you are quite a sprightly tour guide! Our dad and mom just loved Victoria Falls pictures, so beautiful! Our dad and brother summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2007 and they never stop talking about their trip!!!! We are glad to see Max is comfy and cozy, we think he is resting up from all his travels!! xoxo Toby, Ginger, Jeter & Halle
Wooos Toffee! You are turning out to be one awesome tour guide! I loved your Rainbow Falls! Stunning, as is Tammy too! She does not look like a Labra-dork!
I am happy to see Max is feeling well! all our best!
-Kira The BeaWootiful
Oh, those falls are gorgeous - did you see any of our pups off in the distance, Toffee? We are so glad to hear that Max is still doing OK. So what if he wants to sleep a lot - he looks very good out in the garden with those beautiful dahlias.
Happy days.
Woos, Phantom and Thunder
Great post Toffee! Love your mom's beautiful flowers! They seem to make Max smile too!
Our friends visited Victoria falls when they went to Africa last year! So jealous it's a beautiful sight!
Give Max lots of cuddles from us in Seattle!
Very nice post Toffee. Tammy just wanted to have her own little story in the blog so "a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do!"
Love to Max.
Hello, I have been stopping by after seeing Max at Ina's and also at KB's. Tobi, I love your look-so what were your mom and dad? Love seeing Max and his girlfriend too as well as the bridge. My own sweet girl, Sadie, crossed the bridge Christmas night and I miss her so-as well as her best buddy Reggie-he keeps wandering the yard looking for her. The posts of Max being ill bring tears to my eyes...so hopefully you'll all have wonderful days together still.
Hugs, Noreen & Reggie
The Rainbow Bridge is just as we imagined!

Great job as a tour guide Toffee. You are so adventurous, exploring a foreign country and braving a dramatic an ginormous waterfull (Don't tell anyone, but I find even the relatively small ones we have in Scotland quite scary sometimes).
And thanks too for keeping up updated on Max. Good to hear he's at least comfortable. Sometimes, sleeping is the best thing you can do. I know all about that, these days.
Cheers! H.
Toffe, please don't tell Max we told you this but we think you are just as good a tour guide as Max. Shhhh.....
Well, maybe Tammy girl was just trying to collect some grass for Maxdog.
Max, you are a great fighter and keep figthing it. We love you.
Sam & June
Hi Toffee!
Thanks for the tour! The peeps say that Victoria Falls in now officially "on the list". What fantastic pictures! LL really liked the one of you and Max also. We are always keeping him in our thoughts.
Loads of Licks to you all,
Sierra-dog
Toffe you are doing a great job with the blog! We love that you have stepped up to help out.
And we are glad that Max is still doing ok - we are still purring and praying that he has a lot more of them!
We were counting the ten days too :) Way to make fools out of the doctors, Max! Instead of being sick you went on a world tour. As for Tammy and the mosquito, that's something our M would do, grab the camera first BOL Toffee, great coverage!
Happy news, happy day to all of you
Twink!
You are a fabulous tour guide, Toffee!
I love that Rainbow Bridge, so beautiful! Not very likely that I'll ever get there so thanks for sharing the beauty.
I love those dalias! Wish I had pretty flowers like that! I'm not an outside person and don't enjoy gardening due to all the dirt, bugs and spiders that go along with it. Half the time I forget to water my roses so I'm always amazed when they come back every year.
Thanks for the daily update on Max. I'm still praying for him daily!
Your doing a great job Toffee, we are proud of you!
Thank you for the beautiful pictures of the falls, they are really fantasticly beautiful!
We are so glad to see that Max is doing well for another day, yeah, woo woo!

Toffee,
You are the best tour guide. Is your Big little white dog brother doing OK? I know he doesn't do much blogging, but Mommy was wondering. She had a doggie like him when she was a puppy. Please tell Max he is very loved, and we are all supporting y'all.

Beautiful photos, Toffee. Thank you very much for sharing with us. We learn so much from your blog, guys. Not just the scenic beauty of your country, more importantly ( as of this time), your Mom's immense courage in facing Max's sickness. We pray for Max and all of you.

Hey Toffee,
That was a wonderful tour to the falls. Our dad liked seeing the trillion dollar bill cuz he says thjat's what the U.S. will be issuing soon if the President keeps spending and spending and spending and printing money and printing money. We hope our trillion dollar bill is as colourful as Zimbabwe's. We loved seeing your Rainbow Bridge and the Victoria Falls. Please give Max Dog our best wishes and higs and kisses. We hold him close in ouir prayers. Tell Tammy she needs to set a better exampleand not be escaping.
- TBH&K
Toffee, that was absolutely beautiful, seeing the Rainbow Bridge and Victoria Falls. We are glad that it is off in the distance and resting in such a beautiful place.
Looks like you are doing a good job of keeping watch while Max get some rest. Maybe Tammy was trying to bring back a little of that special spot of Max's to him so he wouldn't have to go out himself... maybe? The Corgi Country Crew
