Dear Readers and faithful friends,

After a number of years of wonderful blogging, this blog has effectively become dormant - except for occasional updates regarding my book, MAXDOG. I have left this blog as a legacy to my dog and a place of sanctuary where we can reflect upon his life. Take your time, peruse the pages spanning Max's 18 months in cyberspace. Feel refreshed and uplifted because his story is an amazing one of..."LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX!"
My activities have now moved on to my new blog entitled "LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX". Please join me there where you can read about my family and canine companions. I also invite you to visit MAXDOG's FANPAGE on FACEBOOK. You can follow the specific links by clicking below:

Thanks for the shout-out. So many of our furiends got the same response. People are emailing me telling me that their dogs just loved the video - the funny thing is that every time I play it, it gets all of the puppies going too - they are looking for the other puppies!!

Have a fantastic day.

Happy 53rd Day of Grace, Max! I can count up to the thousands, so you can just keep going!

The best part of the puppies (or one good part anyway) is the Rocky Creek family is keeping one for their own, little Rory. So we can enjoy watching him grow up,without him chewing our shoes or biting our fingers. We miss the puppy smell, and cuddling, but its not too bad.

Kisses,
Stella

It's amazing what a pile of squeaking puppies'll do for a napping dog, huh, Max? Like you and lots of the others, those cuties got our curiosity up and the hunt for the source of the sounds began!

We've been dog-sitting a sweet sweet geriatric yellow lab girl the past couple of days as her family has been out of town. Every time we go over and see her resting on her big pad and her big tail flapping its happy flap, we think of you. Moma and our Girl lie down and cuddle up and pet her softly and whisper sweet words to her, and tell her she is kind and gentle just like you. It has been very special.

We're so glad you are doing well. Our gramma's dog is just like you ... holding on strong and defying the odds and predictions. Life is SO good!

Love

This is such an adorable post! I just ♥ the photo of Max peeking through the plants. What a cutie pie! Maxmom, you must spend a lot of time on your knees to get the shots that you do - my problem, once I was down there I'd be stuck there for the rest of the day☺

Hey Max,
We don't know that we'd be as brave as you and go into the jungle of the garden in Africa. Did you see any lions and tigers and bear, oh my!
We hope that you had a restful nap after the adventure in the African jungle.
Holding you close in our hearts and prayers during your period of Grace. Cherish the day.
