Psssst.....Let me tell you a secret.....
Tomorrow it's Mom's birthday and we are planning a surprise....
....we are digging a HOLE for her. Hope she likes it!.
We can't seem to think up what to put into the HOLE. The pack have offered the following suggestions:
1) Toffee suggested that we use the hole ourselves...roll in the dust for her birthday!
2) Tam' thinks we should catch the next door cat for Mom and put it in the HOLE.
3) Tommy says we shouldn't bother him....he's sleeping!
4) I think we should collect the washing and put it into the HOLE.
...Any suggestions??

Ummmm, Max? I'm not sure of which is best of your offerings, but I suspect the toffee (if its securely wrapped and not licked) might be OK.
I would like to send her our Best Birthday Wishes, we have wrapped peppermints we could give if we weren't so far away!

Yes, Toffee (the Maltese) is just that...sticky. He loves to roll in things which stick to him and then sit on our laps. Inevitably he has MANY baths.
Max says: " It will be good to spread Toffee all over the hole" :)
