Dear Readers and faithful friends,

After a number of years of wonderful blogging, this blog has effectively become dormant - except for occasional updates regarding my book, MAXDOG. I have left this blog as a legacy to my dog and a place of sanctuary where we can reflect upon his life. Take your time, peruse the pages spanning Max's 18 months in cyberspace. Feel refreshed and uplifted because his story is an amazing one of..."LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX!"
My activities have now moved on to my new blog entitled "LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX". Please join me there where you can read about my family and canine companions. I also invite you to visit MAXDOG's FANPAGE on FACEBOOK. You can follow the specific links by clicking below:

Hello Maxdog Mom!

Max sure lived a full life. A lot of these photos are our favorites. We only had a few months with Max and we feel so blessed that he has touched our lives. We can just imagine how much love and happiness you have shared with your very special companion all throughout the 10 years you were with each other. We will never be tired of coming back to visit the pages of Maxdog's blog and we thank you for keeping his legacy here.

We shall continue our friendship with you, Mr. Boss, Tammy and King Toffee at your other blog and we thank you for taking us there too.

You have our 100% love and support always. Thank you so much for sharing Maxdog with us and with the world. We love you!

Hi Caryl
Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos of Max. Your blog has touched many lives worldwide. May Max always remain in your heart.

An extra hug to Tammy Girl - it'll be a big change for her without Max.

Perhaps someday you'll be able to share some younger pictures of Max and how he entered your lives.

Hugs,
Nadine, Apples & Neeli

Mr. Scout would like Maxdog in Heaven to know that he can relate quite closely with the photo of Maxdog and the BBQ sausage.

Mr. Scout would like to ask Maxmom if she would like him to come to SA to stare at food the next time sausage is cooked on the grill. If so, he will begin to practice his famous 'look' right now☺

Thank you so much for the inspiration, Max. Whenever I am feeling down I will come here and remember to live life to the fullest like you taught me.

Love always,

Sallie

Our thoughts are with you and the family, Caryl. Thank you for opening your house to all of us, inviting us in to share with the laughter, fun, happiness and not so good moments. Max was a true ambassador during his life and his legacy will live on. Yes, it is sad to loose a close companion but at least MaxDog is now truly FREE. No more pain or discomfort.

You were truly blessed to have had MaxDog choose you as his Mum!

In loving memory of a dear and well-admired friend, from Paxton and Shirley in Hobart, Australia.
