Dear Readers and faithful friends,

After a number of years of wonderful blogging, this blog has effectively become dormant - except for occasional updates regarding my book, MAXDOG. I have left this blog as a legacy to my dog and a place of sanctuary where we can reflect upon his life. Take your time, peruse the pages spanning Max's 18 months in cyberspace. Feel refreshed and uplifted because his story is an amazing one of..."LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX!"
My activities have now moved on to my new blog entitled "LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX". Please join me there where you can read about my family and canine companions. I also invite you to visit MAXDOG's FANPAGE on FACEBOOK. You can follow the specific links by clicking below:

GROWING HAIR...

mmmWOOF! Hey everyone and happy WORDLESS WEDNESDAY!

The element of 'Wordless Wednesday' that applies to me today is that I am simply GOBSMACKED with the activities of my humans!

It seems that my favourite humans are trying to GROW HAIR?

Yes, you heard me correctly....

They are: TRYING TO GROW HAIR!!!!!

It seems that the Boss has a hair loss problem, so his daughters gave him this little contraption recently for Father's Day. Written in the card were these kind words:

"We see you can't grow your own, so this is to help you grow hair".

Since then, Mom has been watering the hair grower regularly and here it is!

Does this mean that my Boss must walk around with green hair? Why too must I pose with this silly device? Surely they don't want to compare it to my hair?

Humans.....????...Inexplicable!!!

Tons of licks

Maxdog

No, Max I think it means that the boss must stand in a bucket of water in order to grow hair!

Humans sure are silly. If you are like me, you probably shed a lot. He should just take some of your leftovers and then he'd have a beautiful head of hair. I bet you are so soft too. It would be much better than walking around with spikey green stuff.

Hope you are staying warm.

Very funny present to your Dad and I have no idea why you (like me) as a major hair grower, must pose by this silly thing hehe! Thanks for visiting me - I'm adding you to my list!

H Max
I think we have to be sympathetic towards our human friends, and humour their insecurities. After all, they must look at us and feel very inferior in the matter of fur coats. Imagine how horrid it would be if we were naked almost all over. I don't suppose anyone would be so interested in stroking and cuddling us.
So, yes, I know that hair-growing thing is ridiculous, by why not just pretend the Boss is quite normal....
Cheers, H.
