Dear Readers and faithful friends,

After a number of years of wonderful blogging, this blog has effectively become dormant - except for occasional updates regarding my book, MAXDOG. I have left this blog as a legacy to my dog and a place of sanctuary where we can reflect upon his life. Take your time, peruse the pages spanning Max's 18 months in cyberspace. Feel refreshed and uplifted because his story is an amazing one of..."LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX!"
My activities have now moved on to my new blog entitled "LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX". Please join me there where you can read about my family and canine companions. I also invite you to visit MAXDOG's FANPAGE on FACEBOOK. You can follow the specific links by clicking below:

ALL'S FAIR IN LOVE AND PLAY!

mmmWOOF!
Hey there all my furry friends.

As you know, I've not been impressed by TOFFEE lately.

In addition to all his watery gloating, he has decided to take up residence next to Mom's bed at night - ON THE CHAIR! I think he feels that he should remain elevated at all times!

Anyway, this morning, like a true Golden pack leader, I initiated play time.

MAX'S PLAYTIME!

This brought TOFFEE down to floor level, so that I could deal with him properly!

As with PLAYTIME, it turned into a free-for-all!!!

Indeed, I think they ganged up on me!

There were nips and tucks everywhere!
...AND you know what, I'T WORKED!!!
TOFFEE IS SORTED!
We're a pack again and Mom has our full attention!
(except,of course, for the old Tommy, who sleeps all the time!)
Have a playful day!
Lots of licks

I'm happy that you know how to take care of doggy things at your home, Max!

It looks at the end that every one is under control! Main Dog Max does it!

Kisses,
Stella

Just found your blog, until last month I had a golden lab and a bichon, the lab passed away but their pictures remind me so much of yours. After reading about Max I think Mugsey got more of the golden retriever characteristics, we are looking for a puppy (maybe).

Love the pictures - so cute. The last picture of you 3 shows how beautiful you are. What fun to have the 3 of you playing and Maxdog - you are still tops.

Wow Max, it looks like you hold your own pretty good in a scrap. Especially since they all ganged up on you. I hope you brought Toffee down a notch, he was getting too big fur his britches, BOL! That is, if he even wears britches...
:-)

Cloud

Meow hellooo...

Nips and tucks everywhere? Hmmm...sounds like one of those late night tv shows, or a plastic surgery recovery ward.

Max, tell that cheeky toffee that he's in my...I mean...o-u-r seat...purr.

Good boy...teach him a lesson :)

By the way, I'm a boy too...somewhere in this huge blog I remember someone asking that, or referring to me as a he/she/it...tutt tutt.

Well, have a great evening and keep toffee off the high chair :)

Meow.
