Dear Readers and faithful friends,

After a number of years of wonderful blogging, this blog has effectively become dormant - except for occasional updates regarding my book, MAXDOG. I have left this blog as a legacy to my dog and a place of sanctuary where we can reflect upon his life. Take your time, peruse the pages spanning Max's 18 months in cyberspace. Feel refreshed and uplifted because his story is an amazing one of..."LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX!"
My activities have now moved on to my new blog entitled "LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX". Please join me there where you can read about my family and canine companions. I also invite you to visit MAXDOG's FANPAGE on FACEBOOK. You can follow the specific links by clicking below:

TOUR GUIDE STUFF

mmmWOOF!

As your self-appointed, unofficial TOUR GUIDE, I feel it my duty to scout around for websites relating to this country and to find really interesting ones to share with you.

Well, I came across one that is truly stunning! Marius Coetzee is a professional Safari Guide and has some absolutely pawsome pictures of our wild animals. I assure you, it's well worth clicking on the link for today's special South African experience.

Those are quite interesting photos. They make me glad that the biggest animal I have to deal with is, well, um... ME!

Oh yeah, you should know that us big guys need a ton of sleep. Don't worry, I won't get FAT, but I do kind of snooze about 18-20 hrs / day.

Mango

Don't worry Max and family!! I'm still here. That is my boy's dog that we lost 2 years ago today. He's very sad today so me and my girl wanted to let him know that we remember too.

Big ol' tailwags because I'm still enjoying the CAR RIDES!

Thanks for sharing the link! Those were some really amazing photos. The biggest and scariest animals we have on my island are the bulls bred for bullfighting, but none of them can ever compare with what you have over there!

Hey Max! A gorgeous site! My favorite was the little dancing rhino and I would give anything to see 10 of them bouncing around together, wouldn't you?

Kisses,
Stella

Thanks for the link! Great photos! You are right this breed does have attitude. I think you should post on your blog about that dog that thinks it is a lion. That is the most fascinating dog! How are things down there?
Take care C!
