Dear Readers and faithful friends,

After a number of years of wonderful blogging, this blog has effectively become dormant - except for occasional updates regarding my book, MAXDOG. I have left this blog as a legacy to my dog and a place of sanctuary where we can reflect upon his life. Take your time, peruse the pages spanning Max's 18 months in cyberspace. Feel refreshed and uplifted because his story is an amazing one of..."LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX!"
My activities have now moved on to my new blog entitled "LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX". Please join me there where you can read about my family and canine companions. I also invite you to visit MAXDOG's FANPAGE on FACEBOOK. You can follow the specific links by clicking below:

YOUR ADVICE REALLY HELPS!

mmmWOOF!

Hello everyone.
Thank you for all the good wishes and advise about my weekend. I took your advise about my dilemma and eventually did do both: that is...COMFORT MOM AND GET MY WALK!

Wow, you guys are great...two dimensional dog thinking...I am so glad I had your help! Mom says that I must say THANK YOU for all your pawsitive doggie warm wishes. Her feet feel much better now and she can concentrate on me.

But a little bit about what happenend....

We woke up to RAIN yesterday morning, so it worked out that we stayed inside almost the whole day. I kept a careful eye on Mom...pressing my nose into her lap and getting lots of ear rubs. I could see that that did her an enormous amount of good...my therapy gives her glazed eyes.

But, as you know, this eventually gets a bit boring for dogs, so I found a long cardboard insert (for some tin foil) in the kitchen and proceeded to demolish it....!

This seemed to convey to Mom very clearly that I desperately needed a walk. Afterall, I'd been with her, inside the house, for at lease 24hours. So after much nagging, Mom put on her shoes, grabbed her umbrella, shoved the camera into the Boss's hand and took me out...

You can see how happy I look, can't you?.....

The best part is that, while we were on our walk, the clouds opened up their taps and the rain came pouring down. The Boss, Tammy and Tammy's Mom ran home fast to look for cover. I, on the other hand/paw simply strolled home with Mom (She'd been wise to bring her own cover!)

So you see, your advice really helps....I DID BOTH!
A big THANK YOU bark to all my clever, furry friends!

Yeah, no reason not to walk in the rain, right? You can always dry off.

I am glad the advice was helpful to you, Max!

I don't want to go walking in the rain, I don't like it at all!

Kisses,
Stella

Way to rock it, MaxDog!
I love walking in the rain - it feels so nice, then makes my fur sooooooo soft!
My mom loves that picture of you getting ear rubbie-dubbies!
Play bows,
Zim
