After a number of years of wonderful blogging, this blog has effectively become dormant - except for occasional updates regarding my book, MAXDOG. I have left this blog as a legacy to my dog and a place of sanctuary where we can reflect upon his life. Take your time, peruse the pages spanning Max's 18 months in cyberspace. Feel refreshed and uplifted because his story is an amazing one of..."LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX!"

That's a nice assortment, Max. We aren't allowed to have stuffies because Tucker shreds them.

Hi Max:
I have a lot of toys but I admire your giraffe. Very handsome. Does he squeak?
I don't destroy my toys and it looks like you don't either. Good for us!
Kisses,
Stella

Hey Max,
I find it interesting that you have the stuffed doggie in your mouth. I think I'd go for the giraffe, personally. But that's just me.

Sweet Max!
Happy Wednesday!

So nice that an African dog has such cute African toys. And yes, that giraffe truly is a winner. (Do animals REALLY have necks that long? You're not having me on are you??)
Cheers, H.
Hey Guys,
Thanks for all your nice comments! Yes, that giraffe -
Mom purchased him especially for me from one of the shops in the Kruger Park. One can get all sorts of suchlike African toys here...hippo's, warthogs, elephant, zebra, dassies (rock rabbits) etc.
I also like the giraffe though - his long neck fits nicely in my mouth so that I have it's head sticking out on one side and its feet and tail on the other.
You guys will just HAVE to come to South Africa to see (and purchase) all these things.
Take care and lotsaluv
MAX
Wow Max, so many toys! We've got lots of toys too but no stuffie toys because we like to "kill" them.
Hugs,
Sam & June
Oooo. We want to go on a safari so i can find stuffies like yours! The pet store here didn't have any that pawsome. South Africa must be a really cool place to live!
Luv and wirey wiggles,
Jake and Miss Fergi
Our verification word is stuffi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Max, your toys look very yummy!! If those were mine, they would have no eyes or noses!!!
xoxo
