Dear Readers and faithful friends,

After a number of years of wonderful blogging, this blog has effectively become dormant - except for occasional updates regarding my book, MAXDOG. I have left this blog as a legacy to my dog and a place of sanctuary where we can reflect upon his life. Take your time, peruse the pages spanning Max's 18 months in cyberspace. Feel refreshed and uplifted because his story is an amazing one of..."LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX!"
My activities have now moved on to my new blog entitled "LIVING LIFE TO THE MAX". Please join me there where you can read about my family and canine companions. I also invite you to visit MAXDOG's FANPAGE on FACEBOOK. You can follow the specific links by clicking below:

Wow Toffee! Such tricks you have up your sleeve that you've kept so quietly!!! You are an expert hoop jumper, which my mom says she has to be, but I've never seen her perform your trick hahaha! Great job!

Impressive Toffee! Glad your mum liked the brain game, we got the idea from Honey so we can't take credit. Yes, it is probably best to keep the tennis balls separate. I try to do that but Moose always finds one I missed. Cutting the bottoms off made it easier to keep track of them (they don't roll too far) but Moose seems less interested in chewing them too. I know some doggies might like them better cut up though so depends on your pack! If you do it for them you will have to post about it! Maybe you can make a mini one for Toffee (and Tommy?)!

I love the picture of Max with the stuffed animals! That is awesome. Toffee is for sure adorable and just as talented. Never a dull moment at your house! DO you have a favorite pet? I wonder if I would favor a pet over others if I had more than one.

Oh Toffee,

That was GRRREAT!!! Malt's are known for being able to do all kinds of tricks. that's why you see them in circus's a lot. Those skeptics need to pay more attention!

You're lucky, you have a pretty hoop. All we have is a big wooden embroidery hoop.

You are sooo cute and we are glad that you are getting your own blogging time now.

Luv,
Riley and Star.

Oh, Toffee looks so cute!!!

My human thinks that little dogs have TONS of potential but that humans often treat them like toys instead of giving them the dignity of being a proper dog and lettign them develop their potential and be everything they could be, instead of just "handbag accessories"!! :-)

Honey the Great Dane
